For Spring/Summer 2026, Fortela builds upon its partnership with Manteco, the historic Tuscan textile mill founded in 1943. At the core of the collection, a considered selection of fabrics forms the foundation of some of its most distinctive garments.
The Manteco Edit
For Him
Where It Begins
It began on a sourcing trip to Tuscany, where Alessandro Squarzi returned to the Manteco factory.
Time spent within the factory, among materials and process, led to the selection of fabrics that would define a focused group of garments.
Process Over Speed
For this collection, after a lengthy and considered process, a refined Egyptian cotton was selected then woven in Italy, chosen for its natural character and depth.
The fabric carries an authentic, worn-in feel, while maintaining structure, durability, and resistance over time.
The Result
A selection of garments shaped by material. Designed with clarity and purpose.
Pieces that sit naturally within a wardrobe, without the need for statement.
They are not seasonal objects, but garments born from a mastery of textile, made to endure and, over time, to be passed on.
